Nick has been involved in the financial advice industry for over 20 years. His career started with a brokerage in Altrincham in the early 00's. He then went on to lead teams with two national banks.
Nick lives in South Manchester with wife Emma and son Harvey. When not helping clients, Nick enjoys spending time with the family and heading out on his bike into the Cheshire countryside.

Nick holds the status “certified professional in financial advice” as well as “certified mortgage adviser” status with the London Institute of Banking and Finance. He recently completed the level six qualification Private Client Investment Advice and Management with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. This is in addition to the professional qualifications gained over his career spanning 20 years, Diploma in Financial Advice, Diploma in Mortgage Advice, Certificate in Mortgage Advice, Certificate in equity release and Certificate in financial advice.

About
Nick has had a successful banking career working within the brands Lloyds, Williams & Glyn and NatWest. He built a reputation dealing with complex financial planning areas for private clients. He latterly managed teams of advisers in the Northwest.
After leaving the bank Nick decided to set up Greenwood Mortgages to provide mortgage advice and specialist insurance for clients in Altrincham and the surrounding area. Nick says “it became clear from the outset I would have to increase the service offering. The families I provide advice for had additional needs such as pension advice and wealth management “. The feedback from clients was they wanted to work with one financial adviser that could offer personalised advice in all areas of financial advice in Altrincham.
